OUR LEADERSHIP
Lynnette Brewer -Slaughter, Founder & CEO
Lynnette is the founder and CEO of Cascade Career & HR Development. She has over 18 years of experience in human resources and organizational development. Lynnette worked as an administrative manager at the University of California for 7 years overseeing large community and graduate medical education programs. There, she led recruitment, strategic planning, budgeting, and training initiatives. In her early career, she worked in the social services and private sectors as an operations director and management consultant. ​

Lynnette is driven by a desire to see people reach their highest potential. She is passionate about social justice issues, particularly those that impact Black people and other marginalized groups. Her goal is to help others build successful careers while fighting for equity and justice in all aspects of life.

Lynnette holds a Master’s in Business Management, and Human Resources Management from Azusa Pacific University.
Corporate Social Responsibility & Impact
Cascade Career & HR Development very proudly donates financial support and volunteer services to charitable, community centered nonprofit organizations and institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as well as social causes that align with our guiding mission of improving the lives and society that surround us.
Our team is enthusiastic about the work we do, the clients we serve and the talent we recruit. Since 2020, we have placed a diverse variety of talented candidates in leadership positions with mission-driven organizations that center their work on humane causes such as homelessness services and environmental conservation.
We are rooted in the strong desire to help people (particularly those from marginalized communities) find jobs/careers that will value and grow their talents while also intentionally being kind to our local and global communities.
